Small group lessons are the best!
Children learn from one another, make friends, and challenge one another in a welcoming and fun atmosphere.
Groups are formed of no more than 5 swimmers. Camp is held four consecutive days for 40 minutes each day. Groups are formed based on applicant age and communication need.
Available on a weekly schedule, but space is limited. Private sessions are optimal for swimmers who may need more individualized attention in communication and swimming. All ages and abilities are welcome. Staff members specialize in functional communication and emerging language users. We accommodate and welcome AAC users and recommend an additional laminated low-tech option for pool use.
The waitlist for speech language therapy can be a nightmare. Summer speech therapy is available to improve clarity of speech and assist with any areas of difficulty in communication (following directions, asking/answering questions, literacy, fluency/stuttering, social language, increased verbal language, and/or AAC). Sessions are 30 minutes each and take place in an office setting. THERE IS NO SWIMMING IN THESE SESSIONS.
